The Rideau Canal drained and this part is closed for the winter. The rest of it is frozen over and used as the world's longest skating rink! The canal runs into the Ottawa River and you can see the Alexandra Bridge that crosses from Ottawa to Gatineau, Quebec

Stephanie, I teach philosophy courses (for many years now). Winter has really been difficult here this month! The extremes of weather now are challenging!

Stephanie, this is a fabulous perspective on the snowy city of Ottawa! I know it's been cold there this year, as it has here lately. I have been teaching three courses and have not had time to be on FAA, but I look forward to visiting your gallery more in the near future. l/f
